The Journal of Science Policy & Governance (JSPG) provides a forum for students and young scholars to publish policy relevant work. Our mission is to foster a public forum for the discussion and timely dissemination of the most pressing challenges facing science and technology policy. JSPG is a non-profit organization.

Our Niche

We believe students and young scholars can be an important source for innovative policy approaches and policy alternatives. We also recognize that it can be difficult for emerging, but talented young scholars to publish their work.

Policy issues are dynamic. What is policy relevant today could become irrelevant tomorrow. Academic journals may not be able to publish in time to contribute to current policy debates. JSPG will publish articles on an accelerated timeline and assist authors to convey important findings to stakeholders.
