JSPG & STPF 2022 Summer Standard Issue Events
The Journal of Science Policy & Governance (JSPG) and the American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS) Science & Technology Policy Fellowships program (STPF) are pleased to partner on a call for papers leading up to the 2022 JSPG summer standard issue.
Leading up to the submission deadline, JSPG will organize a series of training sessions to provide prospective authors with opportunities to practice policy writing for the Special Issue, and to inspire and empower them with expert perspectives on open science policies to inform their submissions.

Science policy writing workshop: April 23 & 24, 2022: This writing workshop will help prospective authors prepare their submissions to the standard issue, and equip the next generation with the skills needed to write effective, innovative and actionable science policy papers

WEBINAR SERIES
Webinar 1: Career development in science policy: May 6, 2022. This webinar features former STPF fellows from three different sectors who will describe their careers in science & technology policy.
Webinar 2: Science policy training & networking event with published authors: October 24, 2022. This event will take place after the issue release and will feature JSPG authors published in the Standard Issue and cover topics such as communicating science policy and developing training materials for STPF applications or other science policy jobs and fellowships. The event will also provide opportunities for networking with published authors.
