Being an Associate Editor for JSPG has been an extremely rewarding experience. Not only do I get to help authors think critically about and improve their work, but I learn so much about important policy issues in the process. As we often have to edit pieces outside of our area of expertise, I have found that my own writing and understanding of science policy has grown. It is wonderful to work alongside so many other early-career researchers, both authors and members of the JSPG team, who are passionate about this work. I look forward to continuing to be involved!
